Becky and Ollie were married at The East Yorkshire Barns wedding venue in Faxfleet. This super cool couple both wanted a chilled out day with lots of good food and dancing. With this in mind, The Barns offered the perfect space for this.
Where do I even start with this wedding? Ive known Ollie for a few years now. We met through mutual friends and we also shared an office space together! When Ollie told me that him and Beck were going to get married I was 1 million percent on board - I knew this was going to be one heck of a party!
Its no secret that I love shooting weddings at The East Yorkshire Barns. I love how rustic the out buildings are and the textures make AH-mazing backdrops for photos! But most importantly, this venue has the most friendliest staff and Kate, the owner is so helpful.
We started the day in Hull sipping the Marshall own blend of coffee supplied by B.E. Coffee (with a dash of brandy, of course). We then carried on the celebrations in Faxfleet, dancing around with smoke bombs and playing a pretty wet game of Tilly Pong (named after the couples pet tortoise) 🐢
I knew the details for this day would be amazing for this talented duo. Beck made her own colourful wedding bouquet and her 9 bridesmaids. Whilst Ollie, who runs Spray Creative personalised a lot of the cool signage around the barns. This made the venue feel very unique and personalised.
The Marshall wedding had so many local businesses involved its hard to keep track. One particular highlight was the personalised Chip Spice guests received as a wedding favour. You definitely know youve been at a Hull wedding when you get your own tub of chip spice!
