Reasons to have an engagement shoot
An engagement shoots is a great chance to explore a beautiful location, have fun and capture some photos along the way. By the time your big day arrives, you'll have already dealt with any awkwardness and know exactly what to expect, so you can relax and enjoy the moment.
Engagement Shoots can be planned in at a time that suits you, in a location of your choosing. Usually lasting around 1-1.5 hours.

Once you are booked in I will send across The Engagement Shoot Guide. A carefully crafted guide I have put together to help you chose the perfect location and time of year to get the most from your images.
Do we need an engagement shoot?
An engagement shoot is completely optional. If you have concerns about having your photograph taken on your wedding day a practice run before the big day can help reduce those nerves. It allows us the time to get creative and figure out how you prefer to be photographed as a couple.
But we dont know how to pose
My approach to photographing people will always be to capture moments naturally. There are no expectations for you to know how to pose. Your engagement shoot is the opportunity to try new things and find your favourite poses to replicate on your wedding day.

What should we wear?
The most asked question of all! A photograph tends to look more cohesive when colours compliment each other and suit the environment chosen for your shoot. But, above all, choose something you feel comfortable wearing.

Make the most from your photos
It doesnt have to end at the engagement shoot. Prolong the life of your images by including them in your big day.
A lot of my previous couples have used their images to personalise details from gifts to wedding newspapers.
Prints and albums can also be purchased within your online gallery after your shoot.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes of course, we have a dog ourselves so I know the importance of including your best furry friend in the photos too.
I do suggest that you bring someone along who you trust to look after your dog so you can have a variation of images with and without your pupper.
Where shall we go?
