Skidby Mill Wedding Photographer
Lindsay and Ellis were married on a gorgeous May bank holiday at the beautifully renovated Skidby Millhouse. Both Lindsay and Ellis wanted a laid back intimate wedding close to home. For that reason, Skidby Mill was the perfect venue for them.
They choose to have their service at the Millhouse too. Therefore more time for relaxing with their guests and of course a few more glasses of champers! (always a good idea!)
I love shooting weddings at Skidby Mill because of the neutral decor which allows couples to decorate how they wish. But most importantly, this venue has the most amazing food! Im drooling at the thought of their delish pie and mash right now…
L + E chose a gorgeous rustic style for their theme, decorating both the ceremony and service room with wooden crates and lots of gypsophila. Beautiful!
The day began at Lindsays parents house, where the bridal party had a relaxing morning before heading over to the Millhouse. We had such a lovely morning hearing all about the epic time they had at the hen party in Disneyland Paris. This sounded amazing!
Soon, the wedding celebrations were in full swing and the weather could not have been any more beautiful. After their service, guests grabbed a glass of champers and headed out onto the lawn to enjoy the sunshine. I dont think I saw Lindsay stop smiling all day – I love this gal!
There were many highlights of L + E’s the day. In particular when Ellis started a impromptu dance off to Cotton Eyed Joe. A 90s throwback we all need in our life!
