East Yorkshire Wedding Photographer
I love anything colourful, cheery and handmade so you can imagine my delight when I sat down with Chloe and Stu and they told me all about their plans for their wedding day. Firstly they were holding their wedding reception at the wonderful Fruit on Humber Street. I have worked at Fruit over the past 5 years photographing bands comedians and all sorts of amazing events. It is a hidden gem in our City of Culture and definitely worth a visit, it was also a fantastic choice of venue for these two cool cats!
Chloe and Stu began their day at the Guildhall as they said their vows surrounded by their close family and friends. Afterwards they all took the Hull land train over to Humber Street to start the more informal celebrations. It was lovely see how Chloe and Stu turned one of these historic warehouses in the heart of Hull into a pretty DIY, totally personalised wedding venue. Decorating the inside with handmade signs, festoon lights and Chinese trinkets in a nod to Hong Kong, the country Chloe once grew up in. Every part of their day was unique to them even serving ice cream to guests after dinner was a sign of just how selfless and lovely these two people are! Crazy… lovely, lovely people.
Friends and family can view Chloe and Stus’ colourful warehouse wedding at Fruit Space Hull in their online gallery.
