Barmbyfield Barns Wedding Photographer
Terri and Adam were married at Barmbyfield Barns on a beautiful sunny day in December (we even had a rainbow!) Barmbyfield Barns is a wonderfully rustic wedding venue located in Barmby Moor, near York. This venue was perfect for Terri and Adam who were planning a cosey rustic barn wedding.
I love shooting weddings at Barmbyfield Barn. Because this venue is a real life working farm, you get all the rustic qualities of a barn venue. Wooden beams and brick walls add so much character to the building. I particularly love the corn fields in the summer months as it gives me chance to create some epic sunset photos!
Terri and Adam also choose to have their service at the Barmbyfields too, which was great having everything in one venue. Especially as this means less time travelling and more drinking for their guests (win win!)
There were many highlights of the day. Specifically the crazy emotional speeches, which didn’t leave a dry eye in the house! Another lovely moment was when Adam sent Terri a surprise gift. Earlier that day, he had sent Terri a personalised recording from her favourite singer, Lucy Spraggan. This completely caught Terri off guard and set us all off into tears! (Gah! Totes emosh!)
By the end of the day you couldn’t keep guests off the dance floor, this lot definitely knew how to party! After the dancing started to wind down, Terri and Adam gathered guests outside for one last surprise. They ended the evening watching fireworks over the fields with mulled wine and sparklers – perfect!
