Barmbyfield Barns Wedding Photographer
Laura and Guy were married on a scorcher of a May bank holiday at Barmbyfield Barns. This ace rustic working farm is based in Barmby Moor near York. Both Laura and Guy wanted a relaxed day with more of a garden party feel then a wedding. Therefore Barmbyfield Barns was the perfect venue for them to host their ace shindig!
They choose to have their service back in Hull, at the stunning St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. This Grade 1 listed building has the most breath taking alter and is a little hidden gem along the streets of Hull. In fact, I walked past this church many times before realising what what was actually inside. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the City!
Because Laura and Guy both adore Hull so much (I mean who wouldn’t!) they decided to stick around and host a mini post-wedding celebration before heading back to the Barns. In true Wallace style, Laura and Guy were serenaded down the street by The New York Brass Band, leading their guests towards the Old English Gentleman pub (beer!!)
After a few bottles of champers later and a good old dance to the New York Brass Band, everyone headed back to the barns. On the way there, guests were treated to some more ace music from the band. Oh and more importantly an amazing stash of crisps! NOM.
There were too many highlights of this day and not much can top their exit from the church as this was truly epic!
